China is a large country with over 5000 years of  history. Chinese map-making may date back to 476 B.C.,and made great contributions to the world in cartography. Many Chinese historical maps are well preserved till now.

The exhibition will bring together some maps with ages from one hundred to thousands years. It will show different types of maps in different dynasties. They are carefully selected to represent the science and art of maps and map-making in ancient China. Through the exhibition, you may also get a better understanding of the development of Chinese history as an additional knowledge to your profession.
